Digital Delivery in Focus: From Projects to Holistic Intelligence at IHEEP 2025

Day 0 of the 2025 International Highway Engineering Exchange Program (IHEEP), hosted by the South Carolina Department of Transportation from October 5-9, set the tone for the week ahead.

Digital delivery dominated the Department of Transportation (DOT) roundtable, where 47 of 50 U.S. DOTs shared a common ambition: modernize delivery across lifecycles while ensuring information remains trusted, connected, and continuously flowing.

From geospatial and business data feeding into digital twins and Common Data Environments (CDEs) to the governance frameworks that make this information reliable, the takeaway was clear—digital delivery is not a tool; it is a transformation in how infrastructure is managed.
